Our Supporters

SRA’s major funding sources include a diverse blend of public sector contracts, philanthropic grants, and earned income. Key contributors are:

  • NHS Integrated Care Board (ICB) - Final quarter funding from our Southwark commissioning contract

  • City Bridge Foundation - Multi-year support via a 3-year strategic grant

  • Garfield Weston Foundation - One-off core grant awarded for the current year and previous year

  • Southwark Charities - Small one-off grant supporting community wellbeing for older Southwark residents

  • Donations and Sponsorship - Secured through individual giving and local partnerships

  • Social Enterprises - Projected to contribute approximately 30% of our total budget in earned income from sales and services supporting sustainable operations

This mixed funding model reflects both institutional trust and community engagement, enabling us to deliver impactful, culturally responsive programs while maintaining long-term financial resilience.

We are supported by the Felix Project, who redistribute surplus food from supermarkets, that would otherwise be thrown away. Our charity can turn this surplus food into meals for our trainees which means our funds can be spent on other important resources for our trainees.
